Install RSS Feed Indicator Applet - Ubuntu 12.04

Abilities:

• Mark all feeds as read/unread
• Adjustable number of items to show per feed
• Change feeds refresh rate
• Notification popups of new feed items

To install RSS Feed Indicator follow any ONE of these 2 methods

Method 1

DEB Package – DOWNLOAD

Instructions
1) Download DEB package from link above
2) Double-Click DEB package to install
DONE!!!

Method 2

TAR.GZ – DOWNLOAD

Instructions
1) Extract the downloaded file
2) Open terminal
3) Make your way to the extracted directory using ‘cd’ command
4) Type in >>

sh feedindicator-install.sh

DONE!!!

To uninstall the TAR.GZ
1) Open Terminal
2) Make your way to the extracted directory using ‘cd’ command
3) Type in >>

sh feedindicator-uninstall.sh

DONE!!!

NOTE: After you install RSS Feed indicator, you have to run the applet for the first time by searching the name of the applet in the launcher and running it. The next time you log in, you don’t have to search and run the applet manually, the indicator will automatically start.
